A man who needs little Introduction, Shaun Alexander is an NFL, Pro Bowl running back for the Washington Redskins. He was drafted by the Seahawks 19th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft.
In 2005 Shaun turned in one of the finest seasons in NFL history earning NFL MVP honors, a third consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl and first selection as an All Pro. Shaun started all 16 games and scored an NFL-record 28 touchdowns surpassing Priest Holmes’ 2003 total of 27. His total of 168 points scored were the second-most in NFL history, and won the NFL’s rushing title with a franchise record 1,880 yards. Shaun is Seattle’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns, and his 266-yard performance against Oakland, is the greatest game for a running back in Seattle history, ranking 4th in NFL History. Shaun graduated from the University of Alabama, with a degree in Marketing, where he is considered, arguably the greatest player in school history. Shaun is Alabama's all-time leading rusher and also holds records for rushing attempts, 100-yard games, rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns.
In addition to football Shaun is an acclaimed public speaker, and authored the best selling book Touchdown Alexander, released by Harvest House Publishing in 2006. Shaun lives in the Washington DC area with his wife Valerie, and three daughters.
